GC’s Friday Night services are designed to be a mixture of relaxed social connection along with directed spiritual growth. Some nights will feel like a lo-key church service, with live worship music, Bible teaching, and sacraments. Other nights will simply be a time to hang out and have some fun.
On learning nights, the talks will cover practical topics such as: being a Christian in the modern world, thinking about your body and gender, money, marriage, dating, work, rest, etc. Our playing nights will include a wide variety of activities, hopefully a little something for everyone, and always cost-sensitive.
Last thing… Friday Nights are also meant to be a place for the curious. Sometimes inviting people to a Sunday morning service can feel like a bit much for someone who perhaps hasn’t yet decided what they believe about Jesus and his church - but they’re still curious. Friday Nights could be a great place for them explore their beliefs and have some fun with new friends in the process.
