We believe that children are a blessing from the Lord! We also believe in being a blessing to the little ones who God has entrusted to our care, which would include loving and supporting the parents and extended families of every child who's a part of (or born into) our Grace City church family. One of the ways we do that is by 'dedicating' our children to the Lord, and dedicating ourselves - as parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, older siblings, as well as members of the church - to praying and encouraging these little ones (and their parents especially), as they grow in their understanding of the gospel and God's incredible love for all of us. 

Practically, we demonstrate this on a Sunday morning by having the family and their baby stand before the congregation during the beginning portion of the service, while the pastor, or one of the leaders in the church, take a short moment to pray for the child and their family. It's a very simple but meaningful moment for a family and for us as a church community to celebrate new life and dedicate ourselves to serving one another throughout the journey of parenthood.
